The International Geography Bee held its 2019 European Championships at the International School of Paris on 25 May, 2019. Many thanks to ISP for hosting and to Ms. Genevieve McHoes for coordinating the hosting arrangements. Thanks to all who competed, staffed, and came to cheer on the competing students. Official 2018-2019 Median Scores

Students scoring at or above these scores qualify for the IGB European Championships independently of how well they did at an exam site if they didn’t already qualify outright. Independent students (i.e. those not taking the Exam at a site) must score at these scores or better to qualify for the European Championships. Students can also qualify automatically if they get 75 in Varsity, 65 in JV and 55 in Middle School.
